Founded in 2002 Direct Engineering has enjoyed a continuous steady growth fuelled by customer demand. Originally started as one man with one machine offering a basic mechanical engineering service to the local community, the company has grown exponentially now providing services throughout the UK and Ireland, ranging from pipework to large scale structural steelwork.
Direct Engineering services include the Fabrication workshop in Linwood adjacent to the M8 motorway network with spacious 13,000sq. Ft. workshop equipped with overhead travelling crane. One of Direct Engineering’s recent investments is the paisley service centre located in the heart of Paisley which boasts 15,000 sq. ft. state of the art machine shop facilities and is also the location of direct engineering’s fitting department offering submersible and centrifugal pump repairs with hydro test bay facility, gearbox repairs, valve refurbishments and precision and reverse engineering. The newest addition to our services is the introduction of the Hillington based powder coating workshop with brand new automated powder coating machines. These three services combine with our 24 hour emergency call out service to allow Direct Engineering to deliver a total service at excellent value.
