Direct Engineering  were contracted to fabricate 19 industrial water filteration vessels for engineering consultants Barr & Wray who are renown for their  cutting edge work in the design and build of the most prestigious health clubs and state of the art Leisure Centres. Barr & Wray are recognised as the UK’s  leading provider of commercial swimming pools and associated plant.
The project was for 19 tanks of various capacaties ranging from 2400 litres to 15,000 litres. The tanks were under a tight deadline with the 19 required to be complete within just over 3 months. Working out at just under two tanks a week, as you can see from the size of these tanks that wasn’t going to be an easy job. Direct engineering’s experianced and dedicated team pulled together to make it happen and all tanks were completed on time.
All tanks were welded in accordance with Direct Engineering factory production control system and to BS EN 1090 part 1 & 2.
