We are widely recognised as being at the heart of the engineering industry in the west of Scotland and further afield - but we are now also just as well-established at the heart of the community.

Everyone here at Direct Engineering realises we have a real social responsibility to the community and those around us.

Over the years we have developed relationships with leading sporting organisations - both amateur and professional -  who themselves are leaders in developing sport and participation within the community.

Direct Engineering are leading supporters of Paisley-based Scottish Premiership football club St Mirren. Our corporate links with them have developed over the last few years and our clients, customers and friends are familiar faces on matchdays.

We have engaged in trackside advertising, matchday and programme sponsorship as well as supporting a range of the club's annaul fundraising dinners.

Saints are a recognised name both locally and nationally and we are proud of our links with them.

However, our contribution transcends even further into grassroots sport. 

Our sponsorship of Johnstone-based amateur football club Thorn Athletic has spanned over a decade and is one of the longest running partnerships in the national amateur game.

Direct Engineering have been proud strip sponsors of the growing Scottish Amateur Football League side for many years now as well as continually supporting a number of the club's other ventures.

At DE we recognise the role the local business community has to play in supporting voluntary groups who serve such a purpose at the heart of communities across the nation.
